Full Name: Dave Dudgeon The newest member of Sugarhouse, Dave brings with him a huge amount of experience, an even bigger list of songs and a voice that is perfectly suited to Sugarhouse. He also brings in another guitar that fills our sound out to what it should be. OK he's a Jambo but no-ones perfect! (Only Joking, Ed) Place of birth: Edinburgh Town you live in: Edinburgh Instruments: Fender Strat and occassionally an Aria Pro II semi Acoustic. When doing acoustic gigs it's a Taylor and a cheap twelve string. Previous Bands/Projects: Started in nineteen o jeezus with band called Route 66 and over the years I've played in loads of different bands round the Edinburgh circuit Recently been the frontman for the Usual Suspects and have an Acoustic Duo called Prime Suspect with a fantastic female vocalist. I have also been known to ride shotgun for Northern Star when frontman Ben needs a breather. First Record Bought: Slade Alive by Slade Last Record Brought: Eye to the Telescope by K T Tunstall Influences: Not many really, I like a wide range of music from Soul, funk, blues, rock you name it. I tend to draw what I can from all of it. Dream Band Reunion: Hear'say ??? Worst Gig Memory: Playing in the pissing rain at an outdoor gig in the Hawick Blues festival with Black Cat Bones. We were convinced we would get fried by a short. Best Gig Memory: Getting 800 or so ballgown and suited students singing you sexy motherf....r at me at a gig in the Halls of residence at St Andrew's University. Favourite TV Show/Film: Green Wing/The long Good Friday Things you Hate: Wasps, bad sales staff, poor service, ignorant people, the smoking ban, stupid politicians, neds, chavs, those people who try to talk to you while you are going at full tilt during a gig.
